Map of Dakota to make airway project advances
John Wright instructor in civil engineering at the University of South Dakota leads a project to prepare a Dakota airway map. A map will be available soon and surveys collect airport data including number of planes hangars field equipment and ownership from towns with airports. The class also drafts a United States airline map with proposed routes and cost and distance calculations including a Florida to Seattle line through South Dakota.

Canadian Doctor to Practice in Rockham
Doctor J F Ostfield of Winnipeg will practice medicine and surgery in Rockham this week to fill the gap since Dr H Seeman's death last September. South Dakota Enters National Hay and Grain Show
Ralph Johnston secretary of the association announced that South Dakota will enter the Sunshine State exhibits at the national Hay and Grain Show. Vincent will supervise the entries to appeal to judges and boost South Dakota chances of winning ribbons. In prior years South Dakota alfalfa won the sweepstakes, and yellow and white dent corn carried the sweepstakes prize in District No. 2 against northern Iowa southern Minnesota Wisconsin and as far east as the Atlantic seaboard. Last year the state’s exhibits also performed well.
