South Dakota to Exhibit Grain and Seed at Chicago Show
Brookings November 27 South Dakota will feature certified alfalfa seed early maturing weed torn seed potatoes and seed corn at the joint International Hay and Grain show and Livestock exposition in Chicago from November 30 to December 7. Extension specialist A L Ford announced the exhibit prepared with Beate College and the state department of agriculture.

West River Poultry Exhibit Opens Dec at Rapid City
The West River Poultry show will open December 10 at the Municipal auditorium and run four days. Totals July to October were about the same as last year with shifts in Colorado Wyoming Utah Idaho California and Oregon. Prices in Chicago averaged 12.41 to 13.04 cents with weights similar overall. Colorado Nebraska and Texas reports indicate lighter lambs, larger numbers, and variable demand.
