DETROIT, Nov. 3. Charges that paid provocateurs and unidentified outside interests were blamed for the Pontiac Michigan wildcat strike as steps were taken toward peace in the automobile labor field. The United Automobile Workers, whose leaders halted the unauthorized strike at Fisher Body Plant of General Motors yesterday, promised an investigation into the charges.
