NEW KENSINGTON, Pa November 21 A walkout of about 50 CIO unionists halted operations at the Aluminum Company of America sheet mill which handles aviation and other defense orders. John Haser IUAW local business agent said workers were protesting failures of other sheet mill workers to pay dues. The mill employs about 200 with the plant totaling 7,500, but other divisions remained running.
