Secret Masons Invited to Shrine Party in Aberdeen
Special letters go out to Masonic lodges within a wide radius of Aberdeen inviting all Masons and their Indies to the All Masonic Informal Plantation Party and Carnival Dance at the civic auditorium Friday November 24 starting at 9 p.m. Admission is free and visiting Masons are welcome. The venue will be transformed into a spring garden with space for 1000 couples, music by Jack Mills and band, and a strictly informal dress code.

New Rules For Oil Truckers Adopted In South Dakota
South Dakota Public Utilities Commission approves 26 rules limiting Sunday and holiday highway use by tank trucks carrying 1500 gallons or more of flammable liquids. Water town man given life term for sodomy crimes
George Lattimer, 29, of Watertown was sentenced to life in the state penitentiary under the habitual criminal law after being found guilty on two counts of sodomy.
