Dance Act Opens Huron Theatre Studio Inaugural Show
Miss Johna Dee Stemler presented a group from her Mitehall studios at Huron Theatre Friday night. Norman Migel served as master of ceremonies. The 12 year old Betty Hanson led the vaudeville dance and acrobatics, with a cast of girls and twins in well chosen costumes. Stemler's studio is in the K. C. Building in Buren.

A government consolidated Indian school in Kyle Washington County housing 140 pupils was destroyed by fire early Saturday morning. Discovered at 7 30 a m by W E Kieffe a Kyle merchant the blaze spread quickly due to water shortage. Superintendent Dow Carnal offered no loss estimate. The 1934 building likely started from the furnace room or spontaneous combustion.

J. Glanzer of Milford Township brought a sample of durum wheat to The Evening Huronite showing kernels about three quarters of an inch long. Glanzer reported Alberta yields ranged from 50 to 55 bushels per acre with some fields reaching 72 bushels. He plans to test the grain on his own farm next spring after returning with a bushel of the wheat.

Sioux Falls November 2 Rev Nils Bow longtime president of the South Dakota District Norwegian Lutheran Church of America died at his home after more than 45 years in South Dakota. He organized churches in Great Falls Butte Helena Missoula and other points and led the district after a merger of the major Norwegian church bodies. WASHINGTON November 22 The government began construction today on a 10 million dollar airport here intended to rival any in the world. Public Works Administration earmarked 6.3 million and the WPA 3,506,561. Substantial completion is expected by early 1940.
