Huron clubs and groups hold dinners, health talks, music programs and numerous Thursday Friday gatherings. Miss Mary Steele presided at the 30 o'clock meeting. Dr W H Griffith spoke on tuberculosis. Miss Helen Buchanan sang. high school string quintet performed. Multiple lodges and circles schedule meetings through Friday with varied programs and guests.
A series of social items notes a Christmas box for Miss Dubig in Bingham Canyon Utah and a church wedding of Walter Boeke and Bernice Gardner. Newman club, Lincoln Pre School Mothers and O T club meetings are described with papers, bridge, and refreshments. Junior high faculty held a pheasant dinner at 678 Utah Ave SE with themed decorations and arranged seating.
The Pioneer Daughters will meet Thursday evening at 7 45 at the court house. Mrs J H Eyes will present a paper on the Gold Rush to the Black Hills and Mrs Sheldon Reuse will provide music. Bridge and bingo framed the event with John Hinman winning bingo and Frank Brown and Miss Wava Larsen receiving gifts in bridge.
