Detective Dundee Probes Hogarth Murder in Hamilton

Bonnie Dundee, a young detective under Lieutenant Strawn, questions Dowd and other boarders at Mrs Hogarth’s residence after a murder appears to hinge on a hidden hoard. Strawn orders a blanket room search for money or negotiable papers while Payne and others scour the premises and interview witnesses. Dowd, a Des Moines transplant and salesman, provides key but cautious testimony as the inquiry proceeds.
