London May 29 UP The labor government of J Hamsay MacDonald held power after a 270 to 24 vote against a conservative motion to censure and reduce minister Thomas. Twenty three left wing Labour MPs who abstained last week backed the government this time. Baldwin accused the government of failing to address unemployment and urged a central unemployment body under the prime minister. Mosley resigned as chancellor earlier in the week but spoke for over an hour defending the government.
