Reds Push Nazis Back Kuban Area

Red army infantry and tank units attacked nearly 100000 strong and forced German forces to retreat from a Kuban bridgehead front several miles long and two kilometers deep. Berlin said Nazi defenses along the Delta stronghold were battered as the main assault hit German positions near Moldavanskoje and Kijevkoje about 20 miles above Novorossisk.
