Last Week Of Alpena High School Activities Begins
Alpena May 15 Thirty seniors will bid farewell at Alpena High School next Friday May 23 with commencement exercises closing a busy final week. The Rainbow Serenade opens Friday night with the junior class hosting and a banquet at the Methodist Church followed by a Drearsland Theatre movie. Baccalaureate was held May 14 in the auditorium with Rev. Bracy of Faulkton as speaker. Senior class night Tuesday features valedictorian and salutatorian talks, class history, and gifts to the sponsor. Graduation exercises Thursday May 34 at 8:00 pm. will award diplomas to twelve eighth graders. The class motto is On to Greater Conquests. Gettysburg May 15 In the largest senior class in the school history forty seven students graduate. Valedictorian Gerald Hier holds a 95 average while salutatorian Phyllis Hinckley tops the four year course with an Se average. Commencement set for May 28 with Dr N E Steele delivering the address.

Man Extradited to Face Fraud Charges Across States
Guy Adsm alias Honan, 28, of Belle Fourche S D, was extradited by Sheriff Anton P erson to Sisseton to face charges of obtaining money under false pretenses. He had been held since last week and is also wanted at Selby, Kid City, and in Washington, Nevada, and Montana.
