1942 Scholarship Girl Named At Cottey College Hour
Margaret Scheirer of Aberdeen was chosen as the 1942 scholarship girl for Cottey College. The award, a $250 scholarship, was announced at Cottey College Hour last night. The convention site for 1942 was set as Sioux Falls with Margaret Lamont of Aber deen as correspawing secretary and Constance Robertus of Wagner as treasurer.

Man Severely Injured After Tree Trimming Fall
A man remained in serious condition after a fall from a tree he was trimming last Monday. The accident happened in front of the meat market as Veatch dropped to the sidewalk and was treated by Dr. Freyberg.
