The Kiwanis banquet funded the Wessington Springs club with a program including devotionals by Mrs. Murphy a duet and a poem read by Mrs. Washburn and Mrs. Brigham. About 35 dollars was raised for the coff ee fund as members planned a brief summer program.
Holabird Ray Nicholson and George Sanders of Sioux Falls and Charlotte Sanders visited the I. A. Sanders home over the weekend. Reuben and Ruby Sanders and Julia Waller were in Miller Friday. The W. J. Cassidy family is moving to Highmore this week. Mr and Mrs C Albers and family drove to Onida Sunday. Miss Wilma Woods of Madison visited here for a few days before returning to Madison. Mrs Ray Nicholson of Sioux Falls returned home after a two week visit with her parents, Mr and Mrs L A Sanders.
Hitchcock Mr and Mrs W E Hills and Mrs zilma Wilmarth of Huron visited at the W H Davis home Monday afternoon Mr and Mrs W E Hill who reside in California are visiting at the home of Mr Hill s mother Mrs Alma Wilmarth D C Hobart and L Domey returned.
Sunday from a three days fishing trip to Picker Mr and Mrs Wallace Sweeten of Redfield visited at the home of Mr Sweetens parents Sunday Mrs Harry Sweeten returned home after a 10 day visit Gardner Preston and Alvin Schieb spent the weekend in Pierre for a trap shop Hitchcock women attended the Eastern Star lodge at Tulare with several grand officers and many members 21 outside visitors May Day festival and school exhibit postponed to Friday May 4.
