Beadle County slate set with three unopposed Republicans
Beadle County voters will face a full Republican slate in the fall while Democrats field candidates in most county posts. State’s Attorney Leo A. Tommey, Superintendent H. L. Hurley, and Register of Deeds Anna E. Payson, all Republicans, lack opposition unless independents enter. Three Republicans who may run are Carl F. Brose, Thad Oviatt, and H. L. Bloodgood, with three party conventions upcoming in Pierre and the state GOP gathering May 2.
