Missing in Action Private Glenn Gilbertson From South Dakota
Private Glenn A Gilbertson a former bell hop at the Hotel Marvin Hughitt is reported missing in action on the North African front. He will be 23 on May 5 and is the son of Mr and Mrs Tom Gilbertson, who farm near De Smet. He has been in North Africa since last November. Other locals noted include furloughed private Duane Bowler visiting his wife and daughter, and several recruits and sailors assigned to training stations in Idaho, Florida, and Illinois.
