New Terrorism Threat Spreads In Shanghai
Reports say thousands of Chinese guerrillas entered Shanghai to harass Japanese forces. Police doubled patrols and searched refugee camps while two bomb throwers were arrested after a failed truck attack. Claims of 2000 to 5000 infiltrators and other patriotic groups in the area fueled fears amid ongoing Shan tung front fighting and a blocked Lunghai railway.

Open Forum on Huron Chamber of Commerce Resolution
To the Editor ten board members of the Huron Chamber of Commerce voted to price the park site for the auditorium bond.
