The Good Fairy Cavour Ladies Aid Meet
The Cavour Ladies Aid met at the hall on Thursday afternoon with good attendance. Mrs. Lundy Barton entertained and served lunch. The Matt Maguire family moved into the Ferran house east of the school. About two inches of rain fell Tuesday and Wednesday aiding small grain pastures. Half of the small grain seating is done. The Lundy Barton family moved into the Kopplin house across from the limber yard. Rural carriers report dirt roads in the area.

Ibad condition and in some low places almost impassable due to the recent trains. Gravel roads in poor shape where wind swept dust and worn gravel affect travel. Joe B. Walter received a carload of hats on Hutchinson county Friday and it all unloaded quickly. Mrs J B Brinkman driving into Cavour recently was hit by a WNAX oil truck from Da Smet tearing a wheel and fender from her car but she was not seriously injured. Albert Holm of Yale was a Cavour business caller Thursday afternoon. Oscar Pasky of Belle Prairie township was a Cavour caller Saturday.
