Huronite trip yields newspaper, pop, and cream treats

Eleanor Kouf, corresponding secretary, notes both a lobist shop and a drug store received a newspaper at the Huronite. At the Nehi factory they were given bottles of pop and ice cream was served at the ice cream factory. Eleanor says they all enjoyed the trip very much.

The La-Ko-Tsh troop No. 1 and Skoonatap troop met at the Parish House where Mrs Attrieth awarded badges. Miriem Orlatt and Beverly Erickson earned second class badges, Florence Castle, Elessore Waeckerle, Esther Tischler, Dorothy Swan and Hetty Chiadek received merit badges. Scouts sang and discussed experiences before closing with the song Teps. Mothers and committee members attended the special meeting.

Scout Troop 3 Re Registers After Meeting

Scout troop No. 3 held a meeting to roll call collect dues and plan next re registration. Flying Eagles claimed 660 points in inter patrol competition though Black Scare missed premeeting mel port. Woodcraft tests passed by Marvin Moore and Neil Meyers. Troop will subscribe to Boy's Life after re register paying 35 cents per troop and 40 cents per Scout. Games followed and meeting closed at 9 with Scoutmasters benediction.
