Seven bandits with sub machine guns robbed the North Western National Bank of Minnesota’s outlying branch in Minneapolis. They forced 18 officials and six customers to the floor, took about $50,000 cash and $125,000 in securities, left collateral for loans, and escaped in a decoy car. Police pursued but the robbers fled after the vault clearance.
