Westfall Returned to Huron From North Dakota
Harry Westfall arrived in Huron from Minot North Dakota on Wednesday afternoon. Barry Westfall a 27 year old farm worker is not yet arraigned. State's Attorney Tom H Luby says several preliminary matters will delay arraignment. Westfall was sought since August 1938 when he allegedly assaulted his bride of two weeks leaving her in critical condition. He is represented by Rous W Rada Minot. Westfall was brought to Huron by Sheriff John Boyle from North Dakota after arrest near Sheyenne. Sheriff Boyle was accompanied by Harold W Markey and Marion Thompson. Westfall is jailed in Beadle County. Extradition was waived after initial hesitation.
