A School for Legislators Proposes Annual National Legislature
The American Legislators Association aims to convene an annual nationwide legislature for both legislative branches to boost efficiency in lawmaking. It plans twelve advisory boards, regional conferences, and an information clearing house with councils in all states to share ideas, practices, and expert advice. The proposal includes a compulsory short course for nominees to acquaint them with duties if elected, seeking improved efficiency and coordination across taxation, crime, health, labor, and other fields.
