ODT Alerts Truck Owners to Report Idle Equipment
The Office of Defense Transportation warns truck owners to report all idle equipment to avoid loss of war necessity certificates. District Manager Lanahan says monthly reports are due by the fifth for idle vehicles in the prior 14 days and weekly records must be kept. The order covers commercial and passenger vehicles except taxis, rental cars, ambulances, and hearses. Forms available from the Sioux Falls district office.
