Bus Collision Kills Two on Lincoln Highway
Two men died and a dozen passengers were injured when a Northwestern Road bus bound from Chicago to Los Angeles collided with a cattle truck on the Lincoln highway two miles east of Morrison. Arthur Kennedy 32 the truck driver and Virgil Vail 29 the helper were killed. Passengers Mrs Beulah Doane Vermilion Oregon and W H Shepard Nashua Ya received hospital treatment for cuts and bruises.

Rites Held for David E Reese in Fedora area
Funeral services were held for David B. Reese who died at M. E. Hospital in Mitchell after an operation. Born September 25 1859 in Abrayron Wales he came to the United States with his family and settled in LaPorte Indiana then Lima Springs Iowa before moving to Fedora South Dakota. He farmed until 1921 retired to Fedora. Survived by three daughters Katherine Johnston Sally Reese Margaret Faulkner, one granddaughter Sally Ann Faulkner, and two sisters Catherine Jamison and Minnie Hunter. His wife Anna Christine Reese died three months ago.
