Crops Improve But Prices Say
ST PAUL June 13 Rain across the northwest has greatly improved crop conditions and pushed wheat prices to near year lows. Government figures show spring wheat at 85.7 percent, with acreage likely to fall 10 percent in private reports, possibly lowering yields by 25 to 30 million bushels. Northern South Dakota and southern North Dakota show the best crop outlook with bright prospects for corn and wheat.
