Playground Girls To Form Human Flag At City Celebration
Huron plans a three day Fif th Anniversary festival with a human flag acted by more than 300 children in front of the grandstand. Training costs and costumes are mostly by the girls from local playgrounds. The program includes crafts, story telling by high school girls, games, and a free movie day. Regular daily schedules and weekend activities are outlined, with sewing costumes and a large pageant as a finale. A six week summer playground program opens Monday with activities five days a week for younger children and three days for older girls, plus a planned ukelele program if possible.
