Marriage Secret Confirmed for Beulah Murphy and Wade Gehringer

Wade Gehringer of Huron and Beulah Murphy of Hitchcock wed secretly on October 20 1928 in Hartington Nebraska after Kota Day in Vermillion. Huron Group Heads to Yellowstone for Summer Work

A thousand college students head for Yellowstone National Park with 12 from Huron College joining Jamestown North Dakota to catch a special train. The Huron contingent splits into Mammoth Canyon and Lake camps with roles as porters waitresses kitchen workers and janitors. The park opens June 15 and closes September 20.
