Norbeck Pushes $6 Million for Migratory Waterfowl Aid
Senator Peter Norbeck of South Dakota introduced a joint resolution to extend $8,000,000 of the public works fund beyond June 16, 1935, for the biological survey’s conservation program. The plan would let the money buy land for migratory waterfowl protection and other wildlife. If approved, about $6,000,000 could be spent on Darling’s program, with remainder allotted to other states.
