38 Students Gain Bachelor Degrees at Huron College
Rev. Thomas Grier Koontz of Oil City Pa formerly a pastor at Mellette SD returned to speak at Huron College to 38 graduates the second largest class in the college's history. He urged caution against theory fires and urged purposeful living as classmates received bachelor of arts bachelor of science and bachelor of music degrees amid a ceremony with invocation by Rev. C N McWanис and benediction by Rev. D M Butt.

Triple Chute Jump Is Booked For Anniversary
The Fiftieth Anniversary celebration in Huron July 3-5 will feature W. P. Henderson in a dramatic triple parachute act. He will perform Friday and Saturday in front of the grandstand, ascending in a balloon and then dropping through three parachutes from several thousand feet, a spectacular feat praised as one of the air’s thrillers. Weather once delayed his run, but he reportedly set a claimed world record by using six parachutes on another descent.

Damage Suit Opens in Pierre Court Over X-ray Burn
A $50,000 damage suit against Dr B02 Church and C FE Boeing began at the U S district court in Pierre during the June term. Aleida Romsberg of Scribner Neb accuses the clinic of an x-ray burn suffered in October 1928 and seeks damages. Lawyers Robins and Yost of Fremont and Cherry Davenport and Braithwaite of Sioux Falls represent the plaintiff. Meyers of Watertown represents the defendants. A federal grand jury also started consideration of nearly a dozen cases today.
