Acquittal in Pine Ridge cattle theft case reported

WOONSOCKET June 32 Special Jury in circuit court acquitted Oliver Hetland a farmer northeast of Ar jtesian after about 47 minutes deliberation in a case charging the theft of 149 chickens from the William Jobgen farm in February. Heiland was represented by J A Churchill of Moon.

Eight Injured In Railway Collision Near Sioux City

Sioux City June 3 Eight persons were injured in a railway collision near the railroad bridge. A C Taylor engineer of the Chicago Minneapolis St Paul and Omaha freight suffered the most severe injuries with a broken leg. Frank C. Fisher Dies at 50 on Pneumonia

Frank C. Fisher 50, member of the state highway commission, died here after a two week illness. He resigned as county auditor in 1924 to join the commission, formerly postmaster and tobacco raider at Lead. Survived by widow and a married daughter in Chicago. The rites will be held at Gay.
