Examiner Rules Ford Is Guilty

A labor board trial examiner found Lee Motor Company violated the Weaner Labor Act at its Buffalo New York, assembly plant. Hoppers Erratic In Beadle County

Beadle County reports show grasshoppers severely damaging crops near Huron. Ernest Funck of the Federal Land Bank described a 27 acre oats field yielding 975 bushels and a nine acre Spartan barley field at 43% bushels per acre, with another nearby farm nearly stripped by the pests.

Strip Tease Bandits Nabbed In Illinois

Edwardsville Illinois reports a pair of strip tease bandits who robbed a couple. They forced the car off the road and stole money and clothes from Jessie Secler, 15, Annu Maw, 17, and Escorts Earl Nonn and Ben Allen. One bandit was recognized by nickname Shut up.
