The marriage of J Emery Frank of Springfield Minn and Helen Strath man of Marshall Minn was performed in Huron Sunday morning at 10 by Judge A L Kinkead. Witnesses were Mr and Mrs Rhea Gubbina of Chicago. The couple then traveled to Yellowstone Park for a wedding trip.

BROCKPORT N Y July 2 1944 A high school student died while bathing in the barge canal sparking a village debate over a dog tied to 22 year old Victor Fortune Witnesses say the dog leaped on swimmers hampering rescue attempts and the case drew strong opinions from villagers Justice of the Peace Homer Benedict presided at the hearing. Seventeen thousand separation orders are granted yearly by English police courts.
