Dust storm halts in Blunt with brief shower
Blunt on Sunday faced a dust storm that cut visibility to a block as southeast winds shifted to the northwest. A half hour thunderstorm cleared the dust but rainfall was not enough to wash away the effects. Temperatures fell from 102 to 73 and returned to about 100 briefly. If rain remains scarce, dust storms may worsen in the region, threatening fields and pastures.
