Woman Burned to Death in Collision Near Beresford

Edna Larson of Beresford died yesterday afternoon after a car collision with a Wilson transportation company truck. William Holmes of Sioux Falls and Howard Helfert of Sioux Falls were riding in the truck. both vehicles burned after the crash. Holmes was the driver of the truck.

Dinner Observes Several Local Anniversaries

In Ames on July 2 a large gathering at the Al Johnson home north of Miller honored four family birthdays this month and recent wedding celebrations for Harold Johnson and his wife. Also noted was the wedding anniversary of Mr and Mrs Linc Johnson. Attendees included Mr and Mrs Orville Swinson and George Johnson, with their granddaughter Evelyn Johnson. Dinner was served cafeteria style after moonrise.

Gann Valley July 20 Special Mr and Mrs C C Swartout celebrated their thirtieth wedding anniversary with a dinner at gx oclock. Attending were Wm C Crockett of Mitchell, Mr and Mrs G W Fraser and others. In the evening, refreshments were served to a large number of friends who came to extend greetings.

Free Clinic Planned by Forestburg PTA at Presbyterian Church
