Brookings Farm and Home Day Delegates Describe Visit
Delane Mediger Florence Castle Katherine Jean Smith and I were delegates from our club to the Farm and Home Day at Brookings. The state college campus was familiar to Delane and me, bringing back Junior Short Course memories. We arrived late, had an early dinner, practiced for the 4H panorama, and appeared on the program around 2 p.m. We heard Secretary Tugwell speak, toured the campus, watched horseshoe pitching, baseball, and other contests before returning home late.
