Domestic allotment plan gains momentum in farming regions
Enthusiasm for a voluntary domestic allotment plan grows as education campaigns spread. Supporters argue the plan could raise farm prices and stabilize farming, with Norbeck’s emergency measure acting as a bridge if the permanent plan faces a slow timetable. Bankers and insurers begin to acknowledge agriculture needs fair prices for general economic recovery.
