Wool Growers Ship 93 Cars of Wool from South Dakota
Twenty three cars of wool totaling about 550000 pounds have been marketed by the Cooperative Wool Growers of South Dakota. Carl Nadasdy, manager, says roughly as many more are in transit and the association expects to receive 2000000 pounds this season. Shipments across many counties and bids by local dealers led growers to consign to Boston via the National Wool Exchange when prices were toward low end.

PIERRH July 9. A prosecution for not posting butterfat price in a conspicuous place was announced by O Ronayne director of inspections. Francis J. Boyle of Cavour charged. trial not guilty. Edgemont and Iverson Center Point faced fines for selling cigarettes without stamps and for exposing open cartons. J J Ashcroft Hot Springs fined for operating a petroleum tank wagon without red tag faucets.

Edmunds County Pastures Meet Declining Cattle Herds
IPSWICH July 9 For the first time since pioneer days pastures in western and northern Edmunds county are nearly empty of cattle. Prices were high leading owners to sell to meet obligations, reducing herd numbers despite rich grass and water. Youth Bulldogger Saves Life in Centerville Rodeo
Centerville July 9 Tony Snoozy son of Mr and Mrs William Snoozy staged a little rodeo to rescue a steer from escaping into a field. As the enraged animal charged Snoozy grabbed the steer by the horns and, after a fierce struggle, flipped it to the ground proving himself a capable bulldogger in a life risking moment.
