Burn Cattle As Anthrax Guard
Sioux City, July 1. Since January 1, 1941, thirty six cattle herds in the northwest area have been quarantined for anthrax, mostly on previously infected farms. Experts urge burning dying livestock to destroy germs, warn against unsafe burial and improper vaccines in hot weather, and stress prompt veterinary diagnosis and proper use of vaccines, serums, and biologics to prevent further spread.
