Rice returned Saturday evening from a long western trip in the interests of the I. C. Fr ese and Mrs. Claude Dickinson came back from California after about six weeks. John Claypoole of Broadland visited the city, leaving for home Monday. The C N W station at Northville was burned at 2 PM Monday afternoon with part of the freight saved.
Fire destroys office and building. origin under investigation
A fire consumed the office records and furniture and the building, with origin not yet known. The Argus Leader manager Paul Skinner visited the Huronite office. Many locals travel or conduct business across towns including Woonsocket Pierre LaCrosse Hitchcock Aberdeen Rapid City and Chicago with varied activities and moves noted.
