Plan Two Thirds Army Overseas By This Year's End

War Secretary Henry L. Stimson announced that the two thirds of America's army will be overseas by year’s end, with many domestic camps closed and combat units reassigned. Enlisted men under 30 will be reassigned first to overseas service, followed by those over 40, with exceptions for prior overseas service and highly specialized skills.
