Orient Library Opens With Community Support

Orient, Jan. 18. The Orient library opened to the public for the first time on Tuesday funded by the American Legion Auxiliary and cash donations from the Orient Tire Department and the local Legion Post. Librarian is Mrs. Clara Shafers. The project has attracted many book and magazine donations and will operate several afternoons and two evenings weekly.
