The Iowa supreme court reversed the conviction of George Huckins Cedar Rapids cigar store and baseball club owner on a charge of obtaining money by false pretenses from Emil Levsen. The case was remanded for retrial in a decision by Justice B A Morling with others concurring. Levsen a former major league pitcher now runs a Springville creamery invested 600 dollars with Huckins. The Linn county jury had convicted Huckins last March in a case tied to a family led financial venture.
