He urges South Dakota cities to plan class j or class 2 airports now to secure morning arrivals and avoid becoming the “little town that isn’t there.” He foresees faster speeds up to 300 mph, mail by air, and coast to coast trips under ten hours.

Safety Chairman's Car Hits Children in Roseland
In Roseland New Jersey on January 1 six Caldwell Township children were injured, four seriously, when a car driven by the chairman of the borough public safety committee struck a group near the township school. Councilman Clinton D. Harrison said the driver had been working all night and fell asleep at the wheel. He woke to see books flying through the air as the incident occurred while Harrison had asked the council to form a junior patrol to guard the crossing.
