J K Johnson announces Club Royale to open next week behind the Royal hotel in Huron. Remodeling is underway for a dining space for 125 with a dance floor stage and booths. W. T. Mayo, Shreveport businessman, had his World War I mess kit found and restored. He had scratched his initials on the El Paso stationed kit in 1917. the item was lost in France and forgotten until a salvage sale revealed it.
