Funeral services for Peter S. Sibbers age 67 with a long illness of pulmonary tuberculosis will be held tomorrow at 2 31 o clock at the German Lutheran church in Wolsey. Tragedy on New Year Eve Claims 9 Year Old Lois Hanson
Lois Marie Hanson nine suffered fatal injuries after being struck by a car on Wisconsin avenue between Second and Third streets around 6 PM New Year's Eve. She died about an hour and a half later in a hospital. Florence Roberts of Artesian drove the fatal car. Coroner John P. Walsh investigated and considered an inquest. one witness, Arthur C. Voss, was questioned. The girl, a fourth grade Washington school pupil, was the daughter of Mr and Mrs Arthur Hanson of 59 Ohio Avenue. She was born October 4, 1922. The accident overwhelmed the driver, who fainted and was taken to police headquarters.
