WCA basketball practice at Jefferson, P T A, Young Women circles, and other groups convene for meetings, lectures, and social events.
Fourteen members attended the regular AICC Study Club meeting at Mrs EA Halvorsen’s Tuesday evening. A gift of spoons and cups was purchased for the Beadle County Sanitary fund. Bria Henerson reported on the City Federation of Women’s Clubs. Programs by Mrs Ho Ellsworth and Mrs BR Henderson featured a review of True North by Eliot Merrick and a humor sketch on Who’s Who on the Air. An informal hour followed with luncheon in honor of Mrs Sundahl, who is moving to Alaska.
Men s week runs March 15 to 21 with the Chamber of Commerce dinner on March 16. The Girl Scout troop was organized with Miss Caroline Melum as leader. The operetta Sweethearts will be staged by Huron College chair April L1. Mix Blount noted the state convention in May.
