Fairbanks Alaska February reports state polar flyer Carl Ben Eielson's body was found in Siberia near his wrecked plane nine miles southeast of North Cape along with mechanic Earl Borland. The two died in a November crash on a frozen lagoon. Crosson and Gillam located wreckage and notified Nanuk to transport the remains to Alaska. Seek Sioux Falls Man For Slaying
Munn of Sioux Falls is sought in Spencer for an auto theft and is wanted in a slaying and a wounding. Albert Drake, 14, died after being shot on the Charles Drake farm seven miles northeast of town. Drake’s sister Rika, 18, and mother Mrs Charles Drake were wounded. Rika, shot in the abdomen, crawled to the nearby John Conway farm and said Munn did the shooting. Mrs Drake was wounded in the ankle and wrist.
