Lalonde Case Set for April Trial Continuance
Aberdeen February 18 Circuit Judge J H Bottura granted a continuance in the Lalonde case charging obtaining money from Brown county under false pretenses. The move came at the Brown county state's attorney's request with Lalonde’s counsel opposing. The prosecution said they were not ready to try and that Attorney General M Q Sharpe may join in cases from the Brown county investigation. The attorney general’s arrival for consultation was awaited per the affidavit seeking the delay.
