University Singers To Present Messiah In Vermillion
Handel's Mes sah will be presented by the combined men's and women's glee clubs of the University of South Dakota on Sunday March 29 under the direction of A L Wilson professor of singing. The glee clubs will be assisted by the University orchestra the Garfield men's chorus from Dalesbure and soloists from churches in Vermillion. The men's choruses have been rehearsing for more than a week of the oratorio.

Conde Man Guilty Of Liquor Charge
Vern Bultman of Conde was sentenced to three days in Spink county jail and fined 50 for a liquor charge after pleading guilty in circuit court before Judge Frank R. Fisher. Oscar Saur of Turton and Louis Schone of Redfield sat in court. Redfield residents who pleaded guilty had sentence deferred until March 23.
