County Land Administration and Management Act aims
The bill, introduced in the house by Rep. W. R. Gardner, would let counties classify land for management into grazing and other land, allow public sale of class one land, long-term leases for class two, and flexible sale payments. It seeks to maximize revenue, protect the tax base, and empower county boards to approve lessee improvements, while safeguarding school lands and funds. Mrs Jessie Mackill of Forestburg is reported ill with sciatic rheumatism and tenosynovitis, cared for at home with Mrs Ed Stekl arriving to assist.
