Statewide rationing setup outlined in South Dakota
Pierre December 31 An outline of how rationing will be handled in South Dakota was given by Adjutant General E A Beckwith in Rapid City. County Defense Councils appoint rationing boards with at least three members and quotas will follow stock inventories. City councils also exist in towns over 2000 population and work with county councils. The program should be fully set up within a week.
